There are so many great pics of Taylor from last night that I’ve been busy saving them all day. But I want to have them all to commemorate such a wonderful first night.
I chuckle every time I look at the suit! It’s just so “greasily” perfect for the part! And the hair – high and sprayed!
I think this is a backwards “makeover!” They took a handsome, stylish guy – always impeccably dressed – and made him into a “Fifties Dude” trying so hard to be “cool!”
Great transformation, but let’s all thank our lucky stars it’s just for the stage! I cannot wait to see him in person!
I’m really sorry and please don’t be mad at me, but these photos make me very sad. It feels like an ending to me. Hope y’all understand because I’ve had a lot of fun here, but I don’t think I’ll be around for awhile.
OK, so I’m not so hip on the hair, but really “dig” the shiny black suit. And the shirt with a zillion buttons un-buttoned is the sexiest thing I have EVAH seen on him…just sayin’.
Ya’ll – Chill Out! This is a costume for Broadway, not a Vegas Act! Taylor has always known how to poke fun at himself as part of the entertainment. He’s famous for it! He is gonna have such a great time with this, and it is proving what a great “entertainer” he is. He looks fantastic, and this outfit may make it into the Hall Of Fame in Alabama, right along with the purple jacket.

Liberace!!! That’s it! I kept thinking when I looked at some of the pictures….”who does he look like???” Yep, it would be Lee! But, that doesn’t mean I don’t love all the pictures, it just means it solved the mystery of WHO?? for me. I guess I don’t understand, but why would they make anyone sad?? Yeah, I know…..you can’t please everyone. For me—keep ‘em comin’ !!!

I just have to say that the only part that made me sad was when I thought about how long it took Taylor to finally have that intense smile on his face…the happiness and contentment is obvious…he made the right move all the way to Broadway…KEEP THOSE PHOTOS COMING……………………………….please?

This man knows how to be fun and he makes me very happy. Whether its Grease or The Fall, he is just good.

The producer of this show is a woman, a VERY smart one. As one male writer headlined his newspaper article while Taylor was on solo tour..”Taylor Hicks Knows What Women Want.”…Uhhhh yeah. So does the producter of THIS boardway musical. BRILLIANT!! BRAVO! Taylor Hicks looking like ELVIS as THE teen angel, using all the good things this man has. OH MY GOODNESS. Nobody does it like Taylor Hicks, nobody!

Chest hair AND tight britches! Wow. I got a chuckle because in the second picture to me he looks like Liberace.
