That looks like leather. Probably bought it in Italy. They look like good Italian shoes too. God, he looks so handsome.

I’m sure he’s having a blast back to doing what he loves the most. And he looks great! I love the suit and shoes. Don’t normally like leather, but he wears it well. Surprise, surprise.

Gosh, he looks so happy and so “into” it, doesn’t he? Look at those “dancin” feet and those great expressions. He just puts so much into every song he sings.

I think he looks great! I think the suit is a shiny material, but not leather. It looks as though it creases and moves and clings differently than leather to me. Maybe even has a bit of an irridescent kind of thread in it to make it shine in the light.

These are great! I don’t know how you do it, but thanks so much Tays!

I have no clue what his suit is made of, or where it’s from. The one thing I do know FOR SURE is that it looks damn fine on him, and he looks happy and gorgeous, and I can’t wait to see him in motion tomorrow night.

He does look fantastic. I noticed when he turned around, his hair is black in the back. Just an observation.
The suit is to die for and the shoes are perfection. Bruno Magli’s would be my guess.

Beauty school dropout he’s not! Wonder if he gets the urge to break into song from Grease? He looks scrumptious. And in the video clip he sounds very fine.

It does look like leather especially in the first two photos.

Interesting look for him. He really likes to dress up when he is around the White House. However, since the orchestra in the background is not in dress rehearsal clothes, then maybe he will not be wearing this same suit. It look really good on him, but maybe he just wanted to test out the shoes on that stage. Or maybe a New York designer wanted to dress him for this occasion. It’s sorta like the Oscars, and he seems to be the talk of the town. Alot of people will see it, so ya never know. This suit looks like something that is easily wrinkled, so I wonder if he will be wearing the same thing. I like the “black shark” looking leather, very slick, and it’s like a suit that is classic R & B style from way back.
Or maybe he is channeling Elvis again? Oh That Taylor!

Don’t think the suit is leather.
A really fine, tight weave will shine like that. Sharkskin, I think they call it. I think “sharkskin” suits of the 50s(?) were made of a rayon-acetate blend. “Sharkskin” refers to the weave more than the fiber, though. I think. Could be silk..or even linen.
Definitely not leather.

But I’d put money on Bruno Magli for the shoes.

As for the suit, I’m guessing NOT leather but maybe some sort of “polished cotton” material. I’ve bought a couple of jackets recently that look exactly like leather or some other natural material like alligator skin , but the label says 100% polyester and the material is actually very light weight. It’s so hot and humid in Washington, CD, I doubt anyone would intentionally wear leather.

Thank for these….they are awesome! I seriously doubt he would wear a leather suit in July! My guess is a rich fabric with high sheen to it. I wonder if he does this on his own or hires a stylist for help with special events?
Taylor’s hair has always been darker in the back…the back, especially lower part (top of neck) is typically the last to go gray…I should know.

I don’t know what the suit is made of, but it could be leather because it fits him like a glove! (especially in #1)
Whatever…it looks as if it would be HOT — not a good choice for a humid July night in D. C., especially if you’re running around on stage. I guess his “Bama Blood” is used to it though!

I would opt for a fine Italian suit. Although Taylor could wear a suit from a thrift store and he would still look marvelous…simply marvelous!!!

Okay Taysharmoncia….fess up…you have some kind of hookup to be getting pictures like these so fast! What’s your secret?

Taylor fans sure are an analytical lot! Since we’re in microscopic observation mode . . . does it look, in a couple of these pictures as if his belt is dark brown? Would he seriously wear a brown belt with a black suit???

Okay, here’s the truth . . . I confess to you that I am haberdasherically challenged and couldn’t honestly tell you if Bruno or Guido made his shoes. I’m just trying to fit in with the cool clothing analysis crowd.

Everybody have a wonderful and safe holiday, and enjoy Taylor tonight . . . I have a feeling he is going to be amazing.

I thought the same thing, leather jacket & pants(!) but upon closer inspection looks like a sheen to the fabric (like a chintz).
Can’t wait for the show. Purposely set up BBQ time earlier so I could hog the TV later on. No interruptions, please, nobody, nohow, nowhere!!

All this excitement proves we need more Taylor and soon. I can’t wait until I travel to see him in Grease in Aug. I am giong to get an autograph or die trying. I’ll also check out every possable follical of hair on his BOD, for color and texture. It may well rain tonight in DC so I hope the stage is well covered, because wet leather may have to be peeled off of Taylor. I’d volunteer for that task anyday.
