A Taylor Hicks Halloween Special

Taylor received an invitation to a Halloween party.

First, he had to decide on a costume.

He tried his old bunny suit, as seen here.

But he couldn’t find the head.

So he tried on a unabomber costume.

But instead of scaring people, it just made them laugh.

So he decided to go to the party as “old man Taylor” instead.

That was TOO scary, but it gave him the idea to go as the elderly ”I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” lady from the Medic Alert commercials.

He thought that might be considered insensitive in these “politically correct” times, so he thought going as a race car driver would be cool.

He changed his mind, called up some old friends and decided to go as Hugh Hefner.

Soon, he arrived at the spooky mansion where the party was.

He went up the creaky stairs.

There was a Caution sign on the door warning people it was scary inside, but he was brave and went in.

Look how excited he was to be there!

Everyone got free scary tuxedo candies….

And glasses of…apple juice.

Taylor saw a guy in a great gorilla costume.

Then…

He realized it was Robin Williams.

Taylor met Paris Hilton’s dog, who went as a pirate.

The dog brought a parrot as part of its costume, and everyone loved the parrot.

Unfortunately, it pooped on Taylor.

Since Paris Hilton’s dog’s owner (Paris Hilton) just wore a towel to the party, Taylor took her towel to wipe off the poop. (Don’t worry, he returned the towel to her.)

Taylor saw a guy wearing a creepy Simon Cowell mask and complimented him on how scary it was.

The guy said, “I’m not wearing a mask, I AM Simon Cowell! Bugger off, you horse’s arse.”

Taylor soon forgot that unpleasantness after he won the Bobbing for Harmonicas contest. (“Look, Ma, no hands!”)

His prize was a signed picture of himself.

It was spooky when the lights went out, but you could still see Taylor’s shoes.

Taylor was cold there in the dark, so he felt around the room to find a coat.

He felt something furry and thought it must be someone’s fur coat.

The lights came on…

And he realized it was Robin Williams again.

Taylor was scared.

Really, really scared.

So he did the Monster Mash.

Then he woke up.

It was all a dream…

Or was it?

That is the best Halloween story I have ever read!! You should be publishing your work.

What a fun way to start off the holiday. Even having seen some of the pics before, they take on a whole new meaning the way you present them.

OMG! We’re not worthy!! That was soooo good! Every time I thought the story was over, there was more. Really, really, nice job!!! I liked the “bobbing for harmonicas” photo. (the only problem I have is with it is I wish I’d written it! damn!! you’re good!)

Bwahahhaaaaaa!!! OMG, Halloween has never been so dorky, scary and handsome all at the same time!

I loved every last bit of it, but some of my favorites were the Medic alert lady and Hugh Hefner costumes, the unfortunate parrot poop accident on his head, Simon Cowell telling him to “bugger off you horse’s arse” (ROFL), the procession of pics where Taylor was scared…..really, really scared….and of course everyone’s nightmare, the furry but ubiquitous Robin Williams!

This post is right up there with the OlympHicks as one of the funniest posts ever! Thank you.

Taysharmonica,,,,,you are very talented. This was the best Halloween,,, thanks to you.

Seeing the pic of Tay sleeping on the coach reminded me of another pic taken around the same time. It was the night Taylor sang Fade Away and he went out after the show with his brother and friends. There is a picture of all of them in a lobby. Maybe sometime you may posst it. I know, how ungrateful can I be, asking for another pic already.

Well, Taylor never needs a costume for Halloween, because he is the man of 1,000 expressions. I think you covered most of them in your story, but what a fun time to show off how he emotes with his soulful face. Funny there were no pictures of Taylor with “bunnies”, cause their costumes are “nice”, but that would have taken the story a whole different direction. You did a Great job blending the story around the pictures. I’m glad I got to experience the Halloween party story, even if I am sorta late. Obviously everyone loved it. Thanks for all your work! Bravo!
