I hope everyone has enjoyed my blog the past year, but after quite a bit of soul-searching, I’ve decided to close the blog indefinitely.
I’d like all my regular posters to know how much I’ve appreciated all the nice comments you’ve left me the past year.

I’m sad seeing this. Thank you so very much TH for EVERYTHING you have brought my way about OUR Wonderful, Handsome, and Real “Soul Man”.
I was a late arrival to the sight, but I loved coming here everyday to see the wonderful pictures and clever themes you put together. I hope Taylor knew about you and stopped by from time to time. You done him proud and I bet he’s so thankful to have you as a fan. I know that I am. Us fans need to always stick together.
I hope you’ll get the chance to see one of Taylor’s shadow tours in the near future. In the meantime, enjoy “The Distance” and its many great songs. Ironically, you have so gone the distance with your fun site and made the world a much better place with all the smiles that have come from all your amazing hard work. SO many amazing pictures and captions. I also appreciate the fans who came here and posted, but you really were the glue that kept us coming back time and time again.
You are a good “soul” and I’m very happy that you came into my life. You’ve done a lot of good here and have brought many people together, many that will remain friends and fans of our talented Mr. Hicks forever.

This really makes me sad, TH- this is what I look forward to first thing every morning. But you must have your reasons, and no matter how much it hurts, we must respect that. I’ve enjoyed the laughs and the tears this site has brought me, and I thank you so much for it. Now you go and do what you have to do, but remember- if you ever want to start it up again, we’ll be right here waiting anxiously for the next round of Taylor sightings. To our Bloggerina (my Queen B) – I hope you realize how much joy you’ve given me this past year. Your themed pictures and commentary were a bright spot in my life. Particularly, when life got tough, I could always count on RHS to make me smile again. RHS was the place I could express my sillier side and it was accepted. Friends support friends on the decisions they make in their lives. I hope you are at peace with the choice you made. And, if it’s any consolation, I am in complete agreement with your reasons. May the door you close today lead you to discover personally fulfilling avenues of expression – online, or not. You have a gift.
To the RHS prolific posters – Your wit and lighthearted comments sparked by the Bloggerina’s clever themes were the missing puzzle pieces to my Taylor adoration. I will miss reading your thoughts.

The Ides of March has turned out to be a very sad day in Taylorland. RHS has always been my first “go to” place in the morning, and I suspect I’ll revisit it often.
Your site was always up to the minute with the latest unseen, and almost impossible pictures to find.
I’m assuming you’ll leave the blog open for old fans as well as new ones, that are just discovering Taylor.
I’ve always looked upon your site as a witty pictorial blog of Taylor’s journey throughout the span of a year. You did a great thing here. You truly did. When this fandom was in such turmoil, you opened this place, and there was never any drama. That in itself is a feat nobody else has been able accomplish.
I do hope that the lurkers enjoyed themselves as well. I’ll leave it at that.
Please know that your regular posters have always appreciated you. I’ll miss the wit and “voice” of so many of you.
Bloggerina, I hope you’re at peace with your choice. I know it wasn’t an easy decision to come too. If it’s any consolation I’m in agreement. Thanks for the memories and the laughs. You’ll be sorely missed.

Awwww, Tays, words escape me. It’s been a wonderful year — full of funny jokes, bon mots, BEAUTIFUL pictures, imaginative topics and conviviality. I’ll miss this site, the other posters and most of all you. It’s been great to visit a Taylor Hicks fan site where EVERYONE agreed on EVERYTHING.
Oh, sure, there were the occasional disagreements about gelled hair vs. mussy hair/bowl cut; or jeans vs shorts; or smiling Taylor vs non-smiling Taylor — but the bottom line was always that Taylor looked good and you were able to get the best photos.
Thanks for making the community a fun place to participate in and visit.
Good luck and come back whenever you’re ready to.

TaysH, it’s been an honor to be the recipient of this blog. It’s been such a happy place to be nearly each day for the last year. I know all things must come to an end at some time and I guess we can take with us great memories of all the clever themes, humorous comments, delicious photos, rare videos and audio clips as well as a real feeling of “community” that grew here. Thank you so much for providing us with all of that.
Aww- I found myself gasping and saying “Oh No” outloud! How sad! We have a full Taylor schedule now, and no place to run to see the pictures the next day. Well, you were always fun, always up to date, always made us wonder – “How did she get this picture?”. This truly is my favorite Taylor site, and even though I would not know you if I saw you on the street, it’s been a great place to feel how much we all connect when it comes to Taylor Hicks. His pictures…… are….well, it just continues to amaze me how I can stare at them and never get bored with it, and I thank you for so much work and bringing those to us when we could not find any news about him. And the comments were like reading an editorial column……..too too funny!
I wish you all the best, and hope you do an update when he wins his first Grammy!!!! I really think he will!!!

The past three years have been a crazy roller coaster ride in Taylorland. Dizzying highs and stomach turning lows. Friendships made and broken. Trusts betrayed for the purpose of elevation of self in a fan hierarchy. Through all the drama and weirdness, there has always been TaysHarmonica and soulaz . . . hanging back and keeping each other sane.
This past year has been an incredible experience for me. I have been so happy for the success of your blog, and so very proud of you for the positive and fun home you created for Taylor’s pictures and all your commenters. The big secret to your success is no secret to me. The atmosphere of your blog is a true reflection of the type of person you are.
As has happened before, a door is closing today . . . we could be sad at the loss of this home, or we could look with excitement at the thought of a new door to walk through. It’s sad to say good-bye to this home. But who knows what’s beyond that open door over there? Whatever is there, I’m sure it will be an adventure.
As always, thank you for this wonderful blog . . . but even more, thank you for being my wonderful friend.
