It’s November 2, 2011, and that can only mean one thing:  It’s time for…

A Taylor Hicks Post-Halloween Special!

Therefore, here it is… 

 

Taylor Hicks received an invitation to a Halloween party. 

His thoughts immediately went to the last time he received a Halloween party invitation, which you can read about here:  A Taylor Hicks Halloween Special

He studied the invitation intently and pondered, “Hmm…should I go?  It got a little too ‘real’ for me the last time.”

But then he rolled his eyes, waved away any worrisome thoughts and said, “What….ever…”

…that was just a dream!”

So he decided to go, but first, he needed to pick a costume…

“I have no clue what to wear to the party!”

“Although I do have an extensive wardrobe.”

“Don’t look, I’m not dressed yet!”

Taylor thought of going to the party dressed up as a carpenter…

…but he couldn’t find his hammer.  He checked his back pockets, but forgot to check his front.

 

Next, he thought of going as the punk football guy with the spiked collar from The Village People…

…but then he realized there was no such member of The Village People.

 

He also considered going as The Goggled Crowbar Killer…

…but he thought that was in poor taste (because he thought his goggles didn’t match his overalls).

 

He finally decided to invite a friend, and together they went as “An Interspecies Romance Atop an Ice Cream Cart.”

Everyone was excited when Taylor arrived at the party.

The partygoers all received goodie bags.

 

Each bag contained the following items:

 

A box of TastyKakes…

Billy Joel’s “The Stranger” album…

A Spongebob Squarepants stuffed toy…

A head of lettuce…

 

…And one baby.

 

Taylor was in the mood to do a little dancing at the party.

 

He started by doing The Robot…

…And then he did The Funky Chicken.

He also played a couple of games…

 

Such as Halloween Charades…

…And Haunted Musical Chairs.

 

Taylor then decided to go on the “Bone-Chilling, Spine-Tingling, Bloodcurdling, Super-Duper-Scary Ride” they had at the party.

He buckled himself in for safety and was all set for the thrills and chills to come.

However, he didn’t find the ride scary at all. 

He was kind of upset about the false advertising.

He soon forgot about that, though…

Look who won the costume contest!

Their prize was half a sandwich. 

Taylor was delighted when his furry pal offered to let him have the entire prize.

Unfortunately, upon hearing that a furry being was one of the winners of the costume contest, someone else at the party thought he had won and he went to go claim his prize…

Yes, it was Taylor’s “Halloween Party Nemesis,” Robin Williams! 

Robin was not pleased when he found out he was not the true winner of the contest.

Taylor was scared after running into his old Halloween foe.

Although he had wanted a scare since it was a Halloween party after all, that was not the type of scare he was looking for.

So to forget that unpleasantness, he went to go perform on one of the stages at the party…

But a scary bongo-playing clown followed him there.

 

So he changed into a suit and went to go perform on a different stage…

But then a terrifying, enormous jack-in-the-box followed him to that stage!

 

He finally decided to forget his troubles by putting on a comfy plaid shirt and relaxing with a beer.

After his ordeal and his beer, he was exhausted and sleepy, so he took a nap…

…A long nap.

After his nap, Taylor decided to enter the Scary Animal Impressions contest.

He got on his hands and knees and did his best scary lion impression. 

He was shocked when he didn’t win.

However, he did win the “Wet Button-Down Shirt contest.”

His prize was a tiny blue duck.

He had no use for the duck, so he tossed it into a nearby bucket.

Robin felt bad about scaring Taylor earlier, so he went up to Taylor and apologized.

He gave Taylor a professional news camera as a gift of apology. 

Taylor accepted his offer and they made up!

Then, Taylor decided to take video of his experience as a keepsake to treasure for years to come.

He had a pretty good experience overall, so he decided that he would go to the next costume party he was invited to. 

This time, he wants to decide on his costume in advance, to save time.

However, he can’t think of a good costume for next time…can YOU?
