Thank you to everyone for all the heartfelt comments on this post. I'm touched and I appreciate each one.

To answer a few of you who asked, I have no plans to delete the blog or forum. I hope everyone enjoys looking back on all the fun we've had here. It makes me happy knowing that my blog made others happy -- that's what the blog was really all about.

I'm shutting off the lights and closing the door behind me, so comments on this post are now closed.

Thanks again for the fun, the laughs, the memories :-D

The past three years have been a crazy roller coaster ride in Taylorland. Dizzying highs and stomach turning lows. Friendships made and broken. Trusts betrayed for the purpose of elevation of self in a fan hierarchy. Through all the drama and weirdness, there has always been TaysHarmonica and soulaz . . . hanging back and keeping each other sane.

This past year has been an incredible experience for me. I have been so happy for the success of your blog, and so very proud of you for the positive and fun home you created for Taylor's pictures and all your commenters. The big secret to your success is no secret to me. The atmosphere of your blog is a true reflection of the type of person you are.

As has happened before, a door is closing today . . . we could be sad at the loss of this home, or we could look with excitement at the thought of a new door to walk through. It's sad to say good-bye to this home. But who knows what's beyond that open door over there? Whatever is there, I'm sure it will be an adventure.

As always, thank you for this wonderful blog . . . but even more, thank you for being my wonderful friend.

The empty stage
The music fades
An open door before us
The voice is still
And no more will
We hear the joyful chorus

The time too brief
A subtle grief
The door still open stands
She looks away
We wish she'd stay
The moment is at hand

The lights now fade
The choice is made
The open door now calls her
The time is now
To take a bow
But memory still stalls her

She hears a voice
Recall her choice
She knows she can do no more
With a heartfelt sigh
And a tear in her eye
She steps through the open door

Thanks from the bottom of my heart, Tays, for your hard work to provide us with the wealth of Taylor pictures over the last year. I'm deeply sorry to see you go, but I understand.

Your sense of humor and creativity never ceased to amaze and delight, and I can't begin to count the number of out-and-out belly laughs I enjoyed as I read through the comments from the cool community of Taylor fans who gathered here on a daily basis.

Best wishes to you!

Just found out about this from the BoogieBoard, and wanted you to know that I will definitely be missing this blog, and you!

I was reading the news, and everyone's posts, I actually had tears running down my face...

Not that I post often, but I frequently stop by to see all the goodies that you somehow manage to locate for all of us...

Hope the blog stays open, at least for archival reasons (WONDERFUL pictures!), and hope to see you start up the blog again sometime in the future...
Not necessarily the immediate future, but maybe a year or so down the road...
